Key Responsibilities Production & Material Planning

  • Develop and maintain production plans based on customer demand, MPS, SIOP, and available capacity.
  • Ensure production plans are realistic and aligned with actual material and capacity constraints.
  • Analyze demand, inventory, open orders, supplier lead times, and production capacity.
  • Identify gating components, shortages, bottlenecks, and other constraints impacting production and customer delivery.
  • Monitor and manage planning exceptions and take corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain planned orders and production requirements in the ERP/planning system.
  • Balance customer priorities, production capacity, inventory targets, and material availability.
  • Work with Purchasing to ensure critical materials are available according to the production plan.
  • Coordinate with Production to validate capacity and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Support recovery plans for delayed materials, capacity constraints, and customer-critical orders.
  • Maintain accurate planning parameters, including lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, calendars, and planning policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Logistics, and Finance.
  • Communicate material and capacity risks clearly and proactively.
  • Escalate critical constraints that may impact customer commitments.
  • Support SIOP and MPS processes with accurate planning information.
  • Participate in regular supply and production review meetings.
  • Drive alignment between demand, supply, and production priorities.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience in production planning, material planning, supply chain, or manufacturing.
  • Good understanding of MRP, MPS, SIOP, capacity planning, inventory management, and supply-chain processes.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Oracle experience is an advantage.
  • Experience with planning or APS tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Fluent English.

The anticipated salary range for this role Slovakia is between18 645€ to 23 307€ gross per and reflects the range applicable in that jurisdiction. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits.
