Data Analytics & Compliance Automation Intern - Packaging Compliance

About our group:

Global Packaging Engineering supports packaging development and compliance across Seagate’s worldwide operations. We work closely with Packaging Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Compliance, and IT teams to drive sustainable and regulatory-compliant packaging solutions.

About the role - you will:

• Develop and maintain packaging compliance databases, master data repositories, and data platforms.

• Build workflows to collect, cleanse, validate, and standardize packaging data from multiple systems and suppliers.

• Create dashboards, reports, and analytics tools using Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.

• Support automation of compliance reporting and data management processes.

• Support PPWR, EPR, SB343, and other sustainability compliance initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and business processes.

• Support material mapping, packaging attribute management, and compliance data collection activities #internship

About you:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis, databases, and process improvement concepts.
• Experience working with data in Excel, spreadsheets, databases, or analytical projects.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize and work with large datasets from multiple sources.

Our Teparuk site produces nano-recording heads, a crucial component of the read/write functionality of ahard disk drive.Our Teparuk facility is a fun and active site.
