Molding Shift Leader

Qualifications

• Engineering or Technician Degree in Plastics Technician or Plastic Engineer
• 3 to 5 years of experience in injection molding manufacturing.
• Previous experience in a team leader, supervisor, or shift leader role preferred.
• Results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of direct reports, fostering engagement and accountability.
• Ensure the achievement of operational and performance objectives within the assigned area.
• Monitor and drive key performance indicators such as Productivity, First Time Through (FTF), Scrap, On-Time Delivery (OTD), and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Perform first-level technical troubleshooting and support on production equipment, resolving short-duration issues when possible.
• Ensure compliance with qualification and multi-skilling matrices to maintain workforce flexibility.
• Oversee machine condition, workplace organization, and adherence to 5S standards within the production area.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, work instructions, and operational guidelines.
• Evaluate, coach, develop, and motivate team members to support continuous improvement and performance excellence
