TikTok Commerce - Category Lead

Roles & Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate growth opportunities for key categories by analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor performance; develop actionable strategies to expand assortment, enhance conversion, and drive sustainable category growth.
• Develop the overall merchant acquisition and merchandise growth strategy for EU, aligning with TikTok’s business objectives. Define clear goals and priorities, and pinpoint high-potential opportunities and scalable approaches.
• Drive merchant sourcing and onboarding by identifying and securing high-quality merchants that fit TikTok’s positioning. Design and implement partnership frameworks with diverse third parties including e-commerce platforms, industry associations, and marketing solution providers to accelerate growth and market penetration.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline new merchants' launch processes, remove operational barriers, and build early-stage success stories that establish market credibility.
• Continuously monitor and analyze merchant and merchandise acquisition performance, optimizing strategies to maximize efficiency and drive sustainable growth.

Minimum Qualifications：

• 7+ years of experience in e-commerce operations or related fields, with a deep understanding of the european landscape highly desirable.
• Experience leading a team of driving revenes and commerical results.
• Fluent in English and Turkish
