Nurse Manager

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Grand Peaks is adding a full-time Nurse Manager to our growing Idaho Falls Clinic. This new leadership position will oversee our existing clinical team while working closely with providers and clinic leadership. The Nurse Manager will also have the support of Nurse Managers at other Grand Peaks clinics, with opportunities to collaborate and share resources.

The ideal candidate is an experienced nurse who is organized, approachable, clinically knowledgeable, and enjoys working with and supporting a team.

Job Duties:

  • Lead, supervise, coach, and support nursing and medical assisting staff.
  • Oversee daily clinical operations, including staffing, scheduling, workflow, productivity, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and delegate daily tasks while working alongside the clinical team as needed to help manage patient care needs and workflow demands.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support with patient assessment, complex situations, and care coordination.
  • Support staff training, education, performance feedback, evaluations, and professional development.
  • Promote high standards of patient care, safety, service, and clinical quality.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, FQHC, PCMH, NCQA, state, and organizational requirements.
  • Monitor clinical documentation, quality measures, chart completion, and required reporting.
  • Oversee clinical processes, equipment, medication management, and implementation of clinical procedures.
  • Collaborate with providers, clinic leadership, and other Grand Peaks Nurse Managers to resolve problems, improve workflows, and share best practices.
  • Foster a professional, respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented workplace.

Requirements

  • Current Idaho RN or LPN license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment, judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, teach, coach, and support clinical staff.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a busy clinical environment.
  • Ability to handle difficult or high-stress situations calmly and professionally.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, teamwork, and culturally responsive patient care.
  • Prior nursing management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
