Schedule

Option 1: 56 Hours per Biweekly Pay Period Work hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Six-week rotating schedule:

Week 1: Monday through Thursday
Week 2: Tuesday through Thursday
Week 3: Tuesday through Friday
Week 4: Tuesday through Thursday
Week 5: Monday through Thursday
Week 6: Tuesday through Thursday

Option 2: 60 Hours per Biweekly Pay Period Work hours: 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant supports the nursing team in providing high-quality patient care throughout the surgical experience. This role is responsible for assisting patients with daily care needs and contributing to a safe, comfortable, and efficient clinical environment while working within the scope of CNA certification.

Essential Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care needs.
Ambulate and assist patients as directed by nursing staff.
Safely position patients to ensure comfort and meet individual care requirements.
Obtain, document, and report vital signs to the appropriate nurse.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked patient care environment.
Replenish supplies and equipment as needed.
Adhere to infection prevention protocols, including standard precautions and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support the nursing team in delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Current Nebraska Nursing Assistant certification from a state-approved training program required. Must have active Nebraska CNA certification prior to beginning employment.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire.
Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
