Product Manager / 4 Days Onsite Per Week Required / Seattle, WA / (6 Month Contract)

Please note: This role is not focused on pure data expertise. Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of product organizations, product lifecycle processes, and business transformation initiatives.

About the Opportunity

  • We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support a highly strategic Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Transformation Initiative. This high-visibility program is a foundational component of a multi-year business transformation roadmap focused on modernizing product data, lifecycle processes, taxonomy structures, and governance capabilities.
  • This is an opportunity to join a greenfield initiative with strong executive sponsorship, significant organizational impact, and the ability to influence how product information and lifecycle processes operate across the enterprise.
  • The ideal candidate combines strong product management skills with product lifecycle expertise and thrives in environments where they must create structure, drive alignment, and deliver results amid ambiguity.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine requirements.
  • Analyze current product lifecycle and business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Drive alignment across Product Development, Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, and Technology teams.
  • Translate business needs into scalable solutions and process improvements.
  • Support product data transformation and modernization efforts.
  • Define and improve product hierarchies, taxonomy structures, and product attributes.
  • Collaborate with program leadership to deliver key transformation milestones.
  • Create clarity, structure, and momentum in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Support the successful implementation and adoption of a centralized PLM environment.

  • Product data audit and cleanup.
  • Data transformation and quality remediation.
  • Product hierarchy restructuring.
  • Marketing taxonomy and attribute modernization.
  • Building foundational capabilities for future AI-enabled customer experiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience within retail, footwear, apparel, consumer products, or merchandising organizations.
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience.
  • Product development, product creation, merchandise planning, or product operations experience.
  • Experience supporting product data, taxonomy, classification, or product information initiatives.
  • FlexPLM experience preferred but not required.
  • Product Management experience leading business and technology initiatives.
  • Experience within Product Development, Product Operations, Product Creation, Merchandising, PLM environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
  • Proven success leading transformation, process improvement, or operational change initiatives.
  • Experience working in large-scale business transformation programs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
