About the position

• Develop managers’ QHSE awareness and ensure that QHSE is an integral part of management responsibilities and objectives.
• Develop and maintain a competent and motivated QHSE organization within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Monitor and communicate QHSE objectives, performance, and results.
• Provide accurate QHSE data, trend analyses, and associated metrics, along with actionable improvement plans.
• Assess sites and develop and implement strategies to reduce injuries, environmental incidents, and other issues that may affect the safety of personnel and facilities.
• Participate in the development of QHSE procedures, work instructions, and checklists as required.
• Facilitate the sharing of best practices, procedures, and work instructions across the organization.
• Monitor compliance with QHSE policies, standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement plans to improve compliance.
• Lead and/or support management in Service Quality and HSE incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Actively monitor and follow up on all QHSE reports and facilitate QHSE meetings at assigned sites.
• Plan, conduct, and support compliance audits, self-audits, and inspections.
• Participate in key customer QHSE reviews and support site locations in preparing and executing customer QHSE visit plans.
• Lead, coach, and mentor employees in all aspects of QHSE and the management system.
• Coordinate and actively participate in the screening, onboarding, and training of all personnel, including contractors.
• Identify HSE training requirements and implement programs to ensure personnel receive all required training. This includes, but is not limited to, new employee orientation and mandatory regulatory training.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE-related legal and regulatory requirements, including the submission of permits, documentation, and reports, as well as the maintenance of required records.
• Ensure that all relevant QHSE documentation is current, properly controlled, and available at assigned sites in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Develop and maintain a high level of QHSE awareness among all personnel through effective communication, training, and active employee engagement.
• Recommend, develop, and lead continuous improvements to the QHSE Management System.
• Perform regular reviews of all QHSE data entered into company databases to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. This includes incidents, observations, inspections, audits, training records, and other reports maintained within the WIS QHSE Reporting System.
• Liaise with local contractors, regulatory authorities, and external agencies on QHSE-related matters.
