We are looking for Senior Software Engineers to build and

operate

the data platform behind VinFast’s ADAS and autonomous driving

programme

— the system our AI, testing and fleet teams use every day to find, version and consume driving data.

This is a

fullstack

role

. You will work across backend services, data

storage

and

the web

applications on top of them. We do not divide the team into narrow specialists: every engineer is expected to own a feature end to end, from the database to the screen, and to grow across the whole platform over time. Work is assigned according to what the

programme

needs at that moment, not by a fixed job boundary — so we are looking for people who want breadth, not a single lane.

Tech stack:

Python for backend and data services, TypeScript with React for the frontend, PostgreSQL, object storage,

Docker

and Kubernetes.

What the Platform Covers

• You will contribute across

  all of

  the following over time. We do not expect one person to master every part on day one, but we do expect you to be willing to work in any of them.

• Data catalog, metadata and search over large volumes of recorded data

• Dataset versioning and delivery of data to compute environments

• Internal web applications used daily by engineering and operations teams

• Dashboards and reporting on progress, quality and cost

Key Responsibilities

Backend & Data

• Design, build and

  operate

  backend services and APIs that serve data to internal engineering teams

• Model and manage large volumes of data: storage, indexing,

  versioning

  and lifecycle

• Ensure the performance,

  reliability

  and observability of the services you own

Web Applications

• Build internal web applications used daily by engineering and operations teams

• Develop dashboards and reporting views that make progress, quality and cost visible

• Design interfaces that non-technical users can

  operate

  without training

Engineering Practice

• Own features end to end — design, implementation,

  deployment

  and operation

• Write API specifications and documentation so other teams can self-serve

• Review code, set technical standards, and mentor less experienced engineers

• Work directly with AI, testing and operations teams to turn their needs into platform capabilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with

  production ownership

  — you have

  operated

  what you built, not only shipped it

• Strong Python

  for backend and data services

• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, REST API

  design

  and object storage

• Comfortable with Docker,

  Kubernetes

  and CI/CD

• Experience building systems that handle large data volumes

• Farmiliar

  TypeScript and React

  for frontend work

• Willingness to work

  fullstack

  rather than within a single specialty, and to move between areas as priorities change

• Good communication in English — technical documentation and working with international partners

Nice to Have

• Experience with data catalog, metadata

  management

  or data versioning

• Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow or similar)

• Experience building internal tools used by operations teams

• Background in autonomous driving,

  robotics

  or another sensor-heavy domain

• Experience mentoring engineers or leading a small technical area
