● Completing assigned certification work for designated vehicle models, successfully enabling the introduction of cars and buses into EU, Middle East, and Indonesia markets.
● Organizing, implementing, and evaluating budget spending to achieve financial targets, including budget planning, tracking, updating expenditure items, and optimizing costs. Monitoring costs regularly to avoid over- or under-budget situations in homologation activities while ensuring effective, transparent, and compliant use of funds with no risk of loss or corruption.
● Researching international laws and regulations to ensure compliance and feasibility of homologation for targeted foreign markets (EU/ME/Indonesia).
● Providing regulatory and legal requirements to designers and engineers, enabling them to study and develop vehicles that meet the standards of each export market.
● Coordinating with Program teams and PMO to define timing expectations, build certification strategies, and submit them for management approval. Managing homologation plans and working cross-functionally to ensure project timelines are met.
● Collaborating with ESP engineers, external contractors, and international certification agencies to support homologation activities and obtain necessary certificates for target markets.
● Coordinating preparation of sample vehicles for certification testing and overseeing vehicle testing according to plan.
● Reviewing and assessing test reports and signing off applicable Compliance Summaries as required.
● Preparing and managing budgets for each export project, seeking approvals and monitoring expenditures across all budget categories.
● Conducting regular meetings with engineering teams to understand technical changes and determine potential impacts on homologation. For ongoing design updates, coordinating with engineering modules, validation/testing teams, and engineering partners to define required testing properties and levels.
● Supporting administrative tasks within the department to ensure smooth operational processes.
● Reading, understanding, and continuously updating regulations/laws from different countries, and applying updates to homologation work. Monitoring technical regulation changes through information collection, analysis, impact assessment, and reporting.
● Managing and controlling the validity periods of national type approval certificates, ensuring timely renewals and ongoing compliance.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the automotive industry; experience in vehicle certification is an advantage. Requires a technical university degree.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vehicle homologation/certification, particularly for buses.
- Experience in homologation for export markets, with familiarity in EU, Middle East, and Indonesia markets considered a plus.
- Strong understanding of “Type Approval” and “Certification” processes used in different sales countries.
- Knowledge of EV buses is an advantage.
- Demonstrates bravery, urgency, strong service spirit, decisiveness, high responsibility, proactive work style, and follow-through to completion.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.

- Skilled in presentations, project management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office is required; experience with SAP is a plus. Familiarity with drawing or design software (AutoCAD, CATIA, CorelDRAW) is advantageous.
