Gathers information from R&D, purchasing and production to create, review, and optimize accurate and comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOMs) for our manufacturing processes in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and production, to ensure BOM accuracy and completeness while detailing the total cost of production, identifying issues and fixing discrepancies. Works with R&D team to support cost estimates for new configurations/products.
Supports the creation of prototypes for new products in the factory, and monitors changes in process or method to calculate total cost impact.
Prepares reports for senior management identifying and comparing factors affecting pricing and profitability of products and services.
Creates KPI statistics to monitor the production and planning process in the form of weekly and monthly reports.
Conducts regular audits of BOMs to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues.
Provides support in the implementation of cost-effective materials management strategies.
Maintains accurate records and documentation to support related to materials and BOMs.
Diving business unit only:
Supports the team in creating and delivers intercompany price lists according to the company's schedule and meets deadlines.
Analyzes manufacturing costs and prepares regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs. Considers all aspects and in-depth preparation on all aspects. Flagging discrepancies. How is he involved in actions and counter measures to be taken or standardized report highlighting issues.
