The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Property & Buildings Electrical Engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate seeking to develop their technical and professional skills while working alongside industry-leading engineers on a wide range of projects. You will gain exposure to electrical building services design, renewable energy solutions, construction monitoring, and multidisciplinary project delivery.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for engineering, a willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and the ability to contribute positively within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will:

• Support in the compiling of relevant engineering calculations, tenders, project proposals, detailed design and drawings.
• Support on compiling detailed designs, drawings, and construction monitoring which includes working on site as required.
• Knowledgeable Designing of MV Electrical Systems.
• Knowledgeable on the Designing of LV Electrical building services.
• Knowledgeable of Generators.
• Knowledgeable of Lighting Systems.
• Knowledgeable of CCTV, Building Management, Access control, Audio Visual and ELV Systems.
• Knowledgeable of the applicable building and design standards to the field
• Knowledgeable of renewable energy systems.
• Liaising with other engineering departments to ensure coordinated solutions.
• Ensure compliance to company ISO9001 requirements at all times.
• Providing technical support when required to other functions.
• Maintain quality standards in the drawing office when required.

What We Are Looking For
Essential Requirements
BTech Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Registered, or eligible to register, as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA.
South African citizenship.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transport for site visits.
