We are looking for a Senior Digital Product Analyst, on a contractual basis, to support the evolution and optimisation of our Digital Customer Platform.

This role combines product analysis, product analytics, and customer journey optimisation. You will work across customer journeys, digital products, and supporting systems to understand customer and business needs, define product requirements, analyse customer behaviour, and identify opportunities to improve customer and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between requirements definition, data analysis, performance measurement, and experimentation, using evidence to inform product decisions and continuous improvement.

Product Analysis & Requirements

• Analyse business and customer problems and translate them into clear product requirements.

• Define customer journeys, user flows, business rules, and expected product behaviour.

• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.

• Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify dependencies, and resolve gaps.

• Support refinement, delivery, testing, and adoption of product features.

Product Analytics & Insights

• Analyse customer behaviour across digital journeys, conversion funnels, and product experiences.

• Identify friction points, drop-off areas, behavioural patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

• Define success measures, KPIs, and product performance metrics.

• Translate measurement requirements into tracking and event specifications.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reporting.

• Analyse post-launch performance and provide actionable recommendations.

• Support opportunity sizing and prioritisation using customer, product, and commercial data.

Optimisation & Experimentation

• Develop hypotheses for customer journey and product improvements.

• Design measurement approaches for new features and optimisation initiatives.

• Support the execution and evaluation of A/B tests and other experiments.

• Measure the impact of delivered changes against customer and business outcomes.

• Drive continuous optimisation through data-driven insights and experimentation.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Product, UX, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and Business teams.

• Ensure customer experience, functional, technical, and measurement requirements are aligned.

• Communicate requirements, insights, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Contribute to ongoing improvements across the Digital Customer Platform.

• 5+ years' experience in Product Analysis, Product Analytics, Business Analysis, Digital Product, or a similar role.

• Strong experience analysing and documenting digital customer journeys.

• Experience translating business needs into structured product requirements and functional specifications.

• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience analysing customer behaviour, conversion funnels, and digital product performance.

• Experience defining KPIs, metrics, and success measures for digital products.

• Experience defining tracking, event, and measurement requirements.

• Hands-on experience with product analytics platforms such as PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, or similar.

• Experience building or working with dashboards and performance reporting.

• Experience supporting experimentation, A/B testing, and optimisation initiatives.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• Experience working within cross-functional digital delivery teams.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.

• Experience working with CRM and customer lifecycle data.

• Experience within financial services or another regulated environment.

• Experience supporting digital platforms that span multiple products, customer journeys, or business areas.

What Will Make You Successful

You are likely to thrive in this role if you:

• Are naturally curious about customer behaviour and what drives outcomes.

• Are comfortable working with both requirements and data.

• Think in terms of end-to-end customer journeys rather than individual features.

• Use evidence, measurement, and experimentation to guide decisions.

• Turn complex problems into clear, practical solutions.

• Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer experience and business performance.

• Enjoy working at the intersection of business, customer experience, data, and technology.
