About the role
Lead innovative alcohol harm reduction services that make a real difference. Oversee multidisciplinary teams delivering outreach and Sobering Up Centre responses, driving safe, compassionate care and better outcomes for people experiencing public intoxication.

Your duties include:
• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the Public Intoxication Response
• Provide direct line management, supervision and support to the Program Facilitator, Senior Nurse and other designated program leaders
• Develop or adapt policies and procedures to ensure consistent and quality practice
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with the community, external and internal service providers and the Department of Health representatives

Our ideal candidate:
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams in alcohol and other drug, community health, mental health, harm reduction or related human services settings
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed, person-centred, and culturally safe practice
• Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement, partnership building and influencing skills
