We're looking for a Client Care Coordinator to join our team for 2-3 days per week (approximately 14-21 hours per week), helping create exceptional experiences for our clients and their pets from the moment they walk through the door.

Located in the heart of Petersham, our clinic sits in one of Sydney's most vibrant inner-west communities.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position, working 2-3 days per week (approximately 14-21 hours per week).

This role is ideal for someone who loves client interaction, enjoys keeping a busy front desk running smoothly, and understands the pace and unique demands of a veterinary clinic.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Greeting clients and patients and creating a welcoming clinic experience
• Managing appointments, bookings, and daily schedules
• Answering phones and responding to client enquiries
• Coordinating admissions, discharges, and client communications
• Processing payments and managing accounts
• Maintaining accurate client and patient records
• Supporting veterinarians and nurses through effective appointment coordination
• Assisting with administrative tasks and day-to-day clinic operations
• Providing compassionate support to clients during both happy and challenging moments
• Helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of reception

Please note that this is primarily a reception and client care role. While previous veterinary nursing or animal handling experience will be highly regarded, this position is not designed to support junior nurses looking to progress their clinical nursing skills.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings both professionalism and warmth to every client interaction.

You'll have:

• Previous reception or client service experience (required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
• Experience managing appointments, bookings, and front-of-house operations
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
• Previous veterinary nursing, animal handling, or clinical experience (highly regarded)
• Experience using veterinary practice management software (desirable)
