We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Technician to join our service team. Whether you're starting your first apprenticeship or looking to continue your automotive training, this is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced technicians while working with one of Australia's most recognised automotive brands.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Technician, you will work alongside qualified technicians to develop your skills in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs. You'll gain hands-on experience while completing your automotive apprenticeship and receiving ongoing training and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles.
  • Learn to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Carry out workshop tasks under the guidance of qualified technicians.
  • Complete manufacturer servicing requirements and workshop procedures.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and assist with identifying repair requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
  • Complete apprenticeship training and trade school requirements.
  • Maintain accurate service records and workshop documentation.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • A genuine interest in the automotive industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
  • Current Australian Driver Licence, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Enrolment in, or willingness to commence, an Automotive Apprenticeship.

Desirable

  • Previous workshop, mechanical or automotive experience.
  • Automotive studies completed at school or through a training organisation.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and servicing.
  • Experience working with tools and equipment.
