We currently have an opportunity for an Occupational Violence & Aggression (OVA) Program Manager. Join our H&S hub and play a key role in leading, coordinating and continuously evolving the OVA Program to strengthen workforce safety, preparedness and organisational resilience. Reporting to the General Manager - Zero Harm, you'll translate strategy into a prioritised portfolio of initiatives and help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Own and maintain the Health & Education OVA Program and roadmap, translating strategy into prioritised initiatives, implementation plans and measurable benefits.
- Lead OVA governance forums, chair the steering committee, and prepare clear executive papers, recommendations and quarterly reports.
- Use operational, safety, security and customer information to prioritise risks, develop business cases and maintain the improvement and innovation pipeline.
- Coordinate OVA initiatives across contracts and functions, working with healthcare, clinical, customer, security, Zero Harm, People & Culture and Learning & Development stakeholders.
- Strengthen workforce readiness and psychological risk management through risk assessments, wellbeing monitoring, post-incident support frameworks and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
- Experience leading enterprise-wide or portfolio-wide programs, combining strategic leadership with end-to-end program delivery.
- Experience in healthcare or a related sector, with strong executive stakeholder engagement and the ability to develop business cases and governance frameworks.
- Strong program leadership, governance, risk management and delivery capability, with the ability to convert strategy into practical initiatives and measurable outcomes.
- Commercial awareness, sound judgement and highly effective communication, influencing, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
- Tertiary qualifications and relevant certifications in health, security, safety, program or project management, business, healthcare, crisis or change management are desirable.
