Technical & Interface Coordinator BelTech

We are looking for a Technical & Interface Coordinator who is collaborative, analytical, and improvement-driven to join our BelTech Projects & Portfolio Management team, based at our UCB campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.

About the role You will act as the key technical interface between Maintenance and Engineering teams across UCB’s Belgian sites. You will ensure operational needs and maintainability requirements are embedded into investment and continuous improvement projects. You will also help drive technology adoption, improve asset reliability, and support effective project transitions into operational maintenance.

Who you will work with You will join the BelTech Projects & Portfolio Management team and work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Automation, Quality, and Operations teams. You will collaborate with Project Managers to ensure maintenance requirements are considered throughout project design, qualification, commissioning, and handover activities.

What you will do

  • You will gather and formalize maintenance requirements from operational teams.
  • You will translate operational needs into technical specifications for engineering projects.
  • You will participate in design reviews and technical clarification meetings.
  • You will monitor emerging technologies, standards, and innovative technical solutions.
  • You will support commissioning activities, maintenance handovers, and technical training.
  • You will ensure maintenance requirements are integrated into design, qualification, and project delivery phases.

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Utilities, or related field.
  • Strong experience in GMP, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of automation systems, industrial networks, and technical equipment.
  • Experience with CMMS tools, SAP processes, qualification, and validation activities.
  • Effective communication skills in both French and English.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
