Housekeeping Aide

Amentum is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas. This position is reserved for Bahamian Citizens only.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas.
• Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
• Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like extra towels, etc.
• Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
• Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and stocking restrooms.
• Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notifying managers of necessary repairs.
• Collecting and disposing of trash.
• Assisting guests when necessary.
• Keeping the linen room stocked.
• Properly cleaning upholstered furniture.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a citizen of the Bahamas. This position is reserved for Bahamian Citizens only.
• Two years of job-related experience.
• Must have ability to read, interpret and apply instructions, publications, and safety rules.
• Must be able to write.
