Job Title: Production Planner
Salary Range: CAD$68,250– CAD$80,900

PURPOSE
OF ROLE
To manage all aspects of the production planning at site
in order to achieve the required Hilton standards of customer service level,
production and stock movements, cost control and material optimization. To be a
participant and team player within the Planning team, To be able to cross
function within the Planning team, on the areas like forecasting and material
planning
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Main

Create and maintain the long horizon
production plan
Create and maintain the short horizon
production plan (day +0 and day +1)
Check on the parameters and KPI;s in Macro
Planner and Scheduler
Secures the plans are executable in the given
production time
Secures all materials are available in time
and quantity
Check on primal availability
Other

Providing suggestions to create better
production plans and keeping up to date
Part of a positive working environment
Providing clear data from sales
performance/production results to Planning manager
Stock management of retail, primal and dry

Highlights potential issues to Planning
manager/management
Checks production progress during day and week
Reports to the Planning manager
Create and maintain a production planning by
using the Quintiq application, ERP and procedures
Ability to reschedule the daily production
planning to for example other lines, other sequencing
Signalling function from forecast data
processing through to daily production plan including communication of
planning data and issues to all relevant departments
Based on the most recent updated sales
forecast produce and distribute daily production plans so that all daily
sales orders are fulfilled on time, efficient production and logistics and
required customer service level is achieved. Survey and communicate
detailed weekly planned needs for primal, packaging, production capacities
and component usage by line and shift
Be involved in stock control, procurement and
logistics at site. Proactively
identify stock shortages, communicating and resolving the issues and
advising Planning manager in regarding of purchasing and/or other
departments of potential service issues.
Ensure efficient planning of production and
timely communication of planning data to relevant departments.
Participates in meetings
Participates in the roster to execute daily
operation tasks
Tracking production results/capacities
Maintain and report, serv levels, upgrades,
KPI’s
Able to cover targeted tasks of other planning
team members in case of absence
Cross trained in Material/Primal planning
role.
KEY EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Ability and proven experience in Planning
Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, retail sector
Experience with ERP systems
