Project Manager, Experiential Marketing

We’re looking for a Project Manager, Experiential Marketing, to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day planning and execution of sponsorship and experiential marketing programs, from early development through live activation
  • Build and maintain project plans, timelines, critical paths, and status trackers to keep programs on schedule and on budget
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including client leadership, creative, digital, production, and operations to ensure seamless delivery
  • Support the development of program recommendations, proposals, budgets, and quotes for existing and prospective clients
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic planning to shape innovative experiential solutions
  • Lead onsite execution of activations and events, including setup, teardown, staffing coordination, travel, and issue resolution
  • Oversee program financials, including budget tracking, reconciliations, vendor management, invoice processing, and financial reporting
  • Review and coordinate program assets and deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with timelines
  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication, regular updates, and proactive problem-solving
  • Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and prepare presentations with strategic recommendations aligned to client objectives
  • Own key project lifecycle deliverables, including post-event reports, recaps, results summaries, and recommendations for future improvement
  • Identify opportunities to innovate, improve execution, and strengthen client partnerships
  • Support the management of client and agency-owned assets, including inventory, condition, maintenance, and repairs
  • Coordinate external partners such as influencers, photographers, videographers, media, and event support staff as needed

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of project management experience in a client-facing role
  • Experience managing experiential marketing, events, sponsorships, retail marketing, or promotional campaigns
  • Experience in an experiential agency or similar brand experience environment
  • Experience in automotive marketing or with automotive clients is an asset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, prioritization, budget tracking, and deadline management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience working with staffing teams, vendors, and third-party partners in live event environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of project management platforms and tools
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, event management, communications, or a related field is an asset
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on program needs

Compensation: The expected base salary compensation for this role is $60,000 to $90,000 CAD annually. 

The actual base salary compensation will vary depending on local market conditions, geography, and relevant job-related factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
