Physician Assistant - University Urology

Responsibilities

• Increase our ability to evaluate general urology patient problems; the demand for the service has been steadily and sharply increasing.
• Perform out-patient urology evaluations; which has a strong and growing demand
• Knowledge about urology medications
• Evaluate new general urology patients
• See follow up patients from the hospital in the clinical setting
• Take patient calls and discuss results
• Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
• Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
• Regular and prompt attendance
• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
• Related duties as assigned

Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Physician's Assistant training program Required
• PA-C - Physician Assistant - Certification as a Physician Assistant Required
• Licensure with the state of Alabama to practice as a Physician Assistant within 60 Days Required
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
