VP Events

Summary

Designs and delivers impactful events that bring sustainability to life through education, collaboration, and community engagement.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan and execute workshops, panels, and social events focused on environmental, social, and economic sustainability
• Collaborate with other clubs and services to create cross-functional initiatives
• Lead the Events sub-team by delegating tasks and managing logistics
• Ensure all events align with CUS policies and the club’s mission

Ideal Qualities

• Strong project management and execution skills
• Confident communicator and decision-maker
• Creative and open to new ideas
• Previous event planning experience is an asset
• Ideal candidate has case competition experience

Additional Information

Time Commitment

4-6 hours per week

May increase close to major event periods

Term of Employment

June 2026 - April 2027
