What you'll do

  • Respond to service calls, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolving system issues
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance under service contracts
  • Calibrate gas detection sensors
  • Participate in project commissioning activities
  • Program controllers and control systems
  • Configure and integrate network communications
  • Provide technical support and advice to clients
  • Apply building automation and control best practices while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and industry best practices

Must have

  • College diploma (DEC) in Building Mechanics, Industrial Electronics, Computerized Systems, Electrical Engineering, or another related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered

Your Skills

  • Programming skills
  • Knowledge of text-based programming languages (BASIC, C++, GCL)
  • Strong ability to work independently and effectively organize workload and priorities
  • Customer service oriented with a collaborative approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Intermediate proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, with the ability to interact regularly with English-speaking stakeholders, including suppliers, colleagues, and business partners
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prepare and write technical notes and documentation
  • Construction Health and Safety Certification (General Health and Safety on Construction Sites)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence

  • Relevant related work experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
  • Knowledge of Delta Controls products
  • Knowledge of computer and telecommunications networks
