Role Summary:

The Acquisition Specialist is a hands-on role focused on supporting acquisition strategy, measurement and customer understanding. Combining strong marketing knowledge and business intelligence, this role turns customer and channel information into actionable insights that support better decisions and stronger customer experiences.

Working closely with the CRM, Media, E-Commerce and Post-Purchase teams, the Specialist will own key workstreams across customer profiling and experience insights, using these learnings to help shape acquisition and channel strategy. The role requires a proactive self-starter who identifies opportunities, investigates business questions, and moves initiatives forward with a strong sense of ownership. The Specialist will also leverage AI and automation to improve processes, expand insight generation and support faster, more informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Strategic:

  • Support omnichannel acquisition strategy through customer, channel, product, and consumer insights.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen acquisition performance, customer understanding, and overall experience.
  • Develop hypotheses and measurement approaches around key marketing and business questions and contribute to the acquisition testing roadmap.
  • Build deeper customer intelligence around profiles, behaviors, motivations, purchase drivers and product preferences.
  • Translate acquisition and customer insights into clear recommendations for Media, CRM, E-Commerce, Product and broader business teams.

Operational:

  • Proactively bring forward new testing opportunities based on acquisition priorities, customer behaviors, and business questions.
  • Own the day-to-day management of Okendo surveys, including setup, question development, deployment, monitoring, reporting and ongoing optimization.
  • Use survey feedback and customer data to uncover motivations, preferences, behaviors, experience trends, and potential friction points.
  • Build and evolve customer profiles and segments using transaction, behavioral, marketing, and survey information.
  • Investigate acquisition and customer trends to uncover opportunities, shifts in behavior and areas requiring deeper exploration.
  • Connect multiple sources of information to develop a more complete view of acquisition performance, customer quality and customer experience.
  • Maintain and circulate reporting, dashboards and business intelligence tools to make key insights accessible and actionable.
  • Leverage AI to accelerate research, synthesis, insight generation and recurring workflows, while applying sound business judgment to outputs.
  • Maintain clear documentation of tests, customer learnings, methodologies and recommendations so insights can be applied over time.

Leadership:

  • Act as a proactive partner to Media, CRM, E-Commerce, Product, Post-Purchase and other cross-functional teams, bringing forward opportunities and recommendations without waiting for specific requests.
  • Take ownership of assigned initiatives from idea through execution, follow-up and recommendation, while escalating risks or dependencies when needed.
  • Communicate findings clearly and confidently, challenge assumptions when appropriate and help translate insights into concrete business actions.

Education/Experience:

  • University degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Economics or a related field.

  • Additional education or certification in digital marketing, measurement, consumer research, business intelligence, artificial intelligence or agentic commerce is an asset.

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in digital marketing, acquisition, marketing measurement, business intelligence or a related field

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, paid acquisition channels, owned and organic channels, customer journeys, and cross-channel measurement.

  • Experience with measurement methodologies.

  • Experience working with customer, marketing and business data to identify patterns, build customer understanding, and informing decisions.

  • Experience with customer research, surveys, customer profiling, segmentation or experience insights; experience with Okendo Surveys is an asset.

  • Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools; experience with Polar Analytics is an asset.

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools within marketing, research or business workflows, with exposure to automation solutions considered an asset.
