The opportunity
We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Team in our Business Unit Transformers, Ticino.
In this role you are leading the execution of medium-size projects mainly related to LV & MV Transformers and Reactors and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, quality standards, health & safety and environment requirements.

How you’ll make an impact
- Developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements
- Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing
- Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)
- Manage After-Sales projects by ensuring the fulfillment of customer needs
- Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget
- May include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects)
- On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables
Your background
- Electrical Engineering or mechanical Engineering Background
- 2-3 years proven experience in Project Management with focus on Transformers and Reactors
- Collaboration with diverse number of stakeholders
- Very good knowledge of English and Italian; any other languages are a plus
- Strong communicator, self-driven and open-minded
- Structured and organized person with the ability to work under time pressure
- Team-player able to build and motivate a project team
