The Opportunity
Ulteig and its affiliated companies are hiring an organized, forward-thinking, and analytical Inside Sales Specialist to join our team. Ulteig is a leader across our service lines, which include planning, design, asset management, automation and integration, construction management and administration, alternative delivery, and a broad, technology-enabled range of consultative services. This role partners closely with Market Leaders, Business Development teams, Sales Operations, and Operational leaders to transform data into actionable business insights, improve forecasting accuracy, automate business processes, and leverage emerging technologies to increase productivity and enhance decision-making.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, technical curiosity, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive operational excellence and support strategic growth initiatives.

What You’ll Do
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Create Reports: Design and generate regular and ad-hoc reports on sales performance, trends, pipeline status, and key metrics.
- Analyze Data: Utilize statistical methods and tools to analyze data, identify trends and patterns, and derive actionable insights for improvement.
- Data Visualization: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide meaningful business insights and support strategic decision-making.
Analytics and Data Modeling:
- Data Models: Develop and administer business applications, data models, automations, and digital solutions that improve data accessibility, workflow efficiency, and decision support capabilities across the business.
- Efficiency Leader: Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies, automations, AI-powered solutions, and productivity tools that enhance operational efficiency and improve user experience.
Business and Sales Insights:
- Optimization Opportunities: Identify client and order optimization opportunities through project and revenue analysis.
- Strategic Recommendations: Synthesize data into actionable business recommendations and present findings to market leaders and senior leadership to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and growth initiatives.
Business and Sales Initiatives Participation:
- Support Projects: Contribute to business and sales initiatives by providing data-driven insights and project management support.
- Contracting Partner: Serve as the primary administrator for all prequalification activities, coordinating with Corporate Controls, Legal, Risk, Safety, and other internal teams to prepare, submit, and maintain required documentation while managing MSAs, annual audits, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to identify and prioritize performance optimization opportunities.
- Strategic Goals: Support strategic initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional projects that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen client service, and improve organizational effectiveness.
Sales Operations and Support:
- Forecast Sales: Develop and maintain sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and team input.
- Support Planning: Support Market Leaders and Business Development teams with administrative requests for existing clients, maintaining proactive communication and helping ensure a positive client experience.
- Client Insights: Create client-facing presentations, capability statements, executive summaries, infographics, dashboards, and other business development materials that support pursuit efforts, client meetings, and strategic growth initiatives.
Process and Performance Optimization:
- Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize sales processes to implement best practices and improve efficiency.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain business development resources, SharePoint sites, knowledge repositories, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and best practices that improve team effectiveness and support consistent client engagement.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Present Findings: Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and other stakeholders through presentations and reports.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and tailor analyses to meet their needs.
Ad Hoc Analysis and Special Projects:
- Conduct Analysis: Serve as a trusted advisor, helping teams maximize adoption and value from digital tools and technology investments.
- Track and Follow-Up: Manage pipeline forecasts, track sales goals, and follow up on key initiatives.
Knowledge Participation:
- Knowledge Participation: Participate in initiatives, committees and user groups providing foresight, business and analytical knowledge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Cross-Functional Relationships: Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to support new and ongoing initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaborations: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and IT to ensure alignment and support for sales operations.
What We Expect from You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence, process improvement, technology enablement, sales operations, project coordination, or a related role.
- Experience creating automations, workflows, AI agents, copilots, bots, or other technology-enabled solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), Microsoft Copilot, SharePoint, CRM platforms, and Power BI.
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that support business decision-making and operational performance.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience supporting cross-functional initiatives, strategic projects, or organizational improvement efforts.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, workflow optimization, or operational excellence practices.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review information accurately and maintain consistency in work products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and translate business needs into practical solutions.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written English communication skills (CEFR B2–C1 preferred).
- Preferred experience in a professional services environment or industries such as renewables, power, transportation, or water.
- Ability to work in a primarily remote role, with an expectation to attend the office two days per week and additional days as needed.
- Must have authorization to work legally in Costa Rica for any employer.
