Job Overview

As a Senior IT Project Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives aimed at optimizing business and manufacturing processes. Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, production departments, and external partners, you will drive cross-functional transformation projects and ensure the sustainable implementation and adoption of digital solutions across the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize digitalization, automation, and process optimization initiatives
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into practical project solutions
  • Plan and deliver IT and digital transformation projects, including the implementation of new software solutions, business process digitalization, and system landscape optimization
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams as well as external service providers
  • Ensure transparent stakeholder communication and provide regular project status reporting
  • Drive the digitalization and optimization of manufacturing and business processes through the implementation of modern systems and tools
  • Manage pilot phases, testing, rollouts, user training, and the transition into operational support
  • Take ownership of change management activities, user adoption, and the sustainable integration of new solutions
  • Act as the interface between business functions, production, IT, management, and external partners
  • Promote standardized, scalable, and efficient processes while supporting continuous improvement initiatives

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in IT project management, ideally within digital transformation, automation, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of business processes, manufacturing operations, and digital transformation practices
  • Experience in requirements analysis and the development of project plans and business case documentation
  • Solid knowledge of modern IT systems, integrations, data flows, and digital technologies
  • Proficiency in both agile and traditional project management methodologies
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to manage complex projects
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, prioritization, risk management, and cross-functional communication
  • Self-driven, assertive, team-oriented, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Fluent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken
