Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

As Regional Sales Lead (f/m/d) for Diagnostic Imaging (DI), you will connect Global DI Sales Leadership with an assigned cluster of DI Zones, currently LAM and MEA. You will listen to regional needs, consolidate priorities, translate global strategies into measurable zone-level plans, and route insights and issues to the right decision-makers. You will also act as deputy for the Europe regional interface, helping ensure strong collaboration and supporting top line growth and operational performance. This role provides significant exposure to senior leaders across DI, Zone Leadership teams, Business Lines, and key external stakeholders.

Team Collaboration:

  • Foster strong collaboration and communication across Zones and headquarters.
  • Support the rollout of global initiatives, tools, and programs, ensuring alignment across regions.
  • Serve as a key bridge between the Global Sales Leadership team and an assigned cluster of DI zones – currently LAM + MEA – acting as the regional interface for listening, consolidation and routing. The specific geographic scope is set and periodically reviewed by the Head of Sales DI and may evolve in line with the DI Sales operating model.
  • Act as Deputy for the Europe regional interface, ensuring continuity and cross-pillar linkage within the Global DI Sales team.
  • Identify, capture, and scale commercial best practices across Zones to accelerate adoption of successful approaches and improve overall DI performance.
  • Pilot new approaches with selected Zones, capture learnings, and support scaling across the organization.

Strategic execution and performance management:

  • Translate global sales strategies into actionable plans tailored for the assigned regions. Drive execution of key programs, tools, and analytics to improve sales efficiency and performance.
  • Monitor performance across countries and zones, surfacing early signals and collaborating with regional teams to route issues and support resolution, while execution and governance remain with the Zones and Business Lines
  • Drive the “Elevating” strategy implementation and planning – including Clinical Segments, Value Programs, Hybrid Selling and Emerging Markets – translating these into measurable zone-level plans and piloting the approach before scaling.

Business Strategy:

  • Have a deep understanding of the markets of the assigned regions. Conduct research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas within the diagnostic imaging industry.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans in close collaboration with zones to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Analyze diagnostic imaging sales performance in zones and countries, understanding improvement areas, and deriving market-specific strategies to capitalize on opportunities and address challenges across the diverse geographies.
  • Consolidate and channel DI business priorities from the Zones in the assigned region into DI leadership steering, supporting Zone sales organizations to capitalize on new business opportunities. Target ownership and execution remain with the Zones.
  • Act as a change agent for strategic DI priorities, driving adoption of new commercial models, tools, and ways of working across diverse markets.

Customer focus:

  • Be the voice of the customer for the assigned regions, bringing insights and feedback to the business lines and headquarters’ leadership teams.
  • Own and further develop the DI KOL management framework – profiling, mapping, ownership matrix and governance – as a core element of DI strategy execution across the region.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the healthcare sector (e.g., key opinion leaders). Work with the zones to define a clinical excellence strategy and drive teams towards a successful implementation

People development:

  • Support People and Leadership development to enable strategic priorities, including developing, promoting and mentoring of talents.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • You have many years of professional experience in sales, business development environment in a large matrixed organization.
  • You convince us with leadership experience in the management of global, cross-functional, or cross-hierarchical teams while driving them to success.
  • You bring extensive experience in driving strategies into execution, as well as implementing customer excellence programs and tools. You have shown success in aligning with regional and global teams to drive shared objectives and achieve business results.

Your attributes and skills:

  • You have exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • You have strong communication skills and apply them fluently in English. Any further language is considered a Plus.
  • You are result oriented, a confident demeanor, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity. Strong strategic and operational leadership skills.
  • You bring experience in fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and empowerment across regional teams.
  • You have the ability to engage, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Excellent communication and relationship-building ability, with cultural sensitivity and influencing skills.
  • You are a Passionate problem solver, with a focus on fact-based solutions.
  • You adapt your leadership style to the respective situation in order to best support your team and have already proven your change management skills.
