JobConnect

Receptionist (Maternity Cover)

As our Receptionist in Copenhagen, you’ll be one of the first people colleagues and visitors meet at GlobalConnect. That makes you an important part of the everyday experience in our office: creating a warm welcome, helping people find what they need and making sure the practical details behind a well-functioning workplace are taken care of.

And this is more than a traditional reception role. Alongside the daily contact with people, you’ll take on administrative tasks, coordinate smaller projects, and work with colleagues, suppliers and senior stakeholders across GlobalConnect. So, if you like a role where no two days are quite the same and where being helpful, organized and proactive really matters, you might feel right at home here.

What you need to succeed

  • You communicate effortlessly and fluently in Danish. English language skills are considered an advantage.

  • You have experience with office administration, coordination, reception, or a similar office support role.

  • You have basic IT skills and feel comfortable working with everyday administrative and office systems.

  • You can work 30 hours per week, with expected working hours from 09:00 to 15:30.

About the role and the team

Your primary base will be our Havneholmen office in Copenhagen, where you’ll help make sure the workplace is welcoming, functional, and ready for the people using it every day. The role is a maternity cover with ideally a starting date of 1st December.

You’ll have plenty of contact with people. One moment, you might be welcoming a visitor or helping a colleague with an office question; the next, you could be coordinating with a supplier or following up on an administrative task.

You’ll also interact with senior stakeholders, including our leadership teams and Board of Directors, so being comfortable communicating with people at different levels of the organization is an important part of the role.

And while Copenhagen is your primary location, flexibility is important. From time to time, you may visit and support our other office locations around Denmark, when needed.

What you’ll be working on

  • Welcome visitors and help colleagues with their day-to-day office needs, creating a warm and professional experience.

  • Keep reception, meeting rooms and common areas running smoothly, while taking care of incoming calls, post, office supplies and other practical details.

  • Handle facilities requests and coordinate with suppliers, vendors and landlords to get practical issues sorted.

  • Support onboarding and offboarding, office events and meetings involving our leadership teams.

  • Take ownership of administrative tasks and smaller projects, including coordination and administrative follow-up on contracts.

  • Support office and facilities activities across our five locations when needed.

Who you are

You genuinely enjoy working with people. Being approachable and helpful comes naturally to you, and you like being the person colleagues can turn to when they need something sorted.

At the same time, you’re organized and dependable. You can move between practical tasks and administrative work without losing track of the details, and you don’t need to wait for someone to point out everything that needs attention.

You’re comfortable meeting many different people during the day, from colleagues and visitors to suppliers and senior leaders, and you know how to adapt your communication while remaining yourself.

Experience from an office, reception or service environment is an advantage, as is experience coordinating smaller projects.

Does this sound like you? If so, we would love to hear from you.
