Principal (German-speaking)

Responsibilities and Technologies

As we continue to expand rapidly in the German public sector market, we are looking for a German-speaking professional who can take responsibility for complex IT deliveries while contributing to the continued development of our client partnerships.

In this role, you will lead large, complex IT engagements and work closely with clients and project teams to ensure high-quality delivery and successful outcomes. You will manage expectations, advise clients, and navigate complex stakeholder environments while building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to further develop existing collaborations. You will also play an important role in adopting, understanding, and communicating Netcompany’s DNA, delivery model, methodology, and ways of working. Combining strong delivery capabilities with commercial awareness, you will engage with key stakeholders, participate in steering committee meetings, and contribute to the continued growth of our engagements.

Your responsibilites will typically include:

• Leading large, complex IT engagements and ensuring successful delivery, progress, and high-quality outcomes.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders, including participating in steering committee meetings.
• Advising clients, managing expectations, and supporting key decisions throughout the delivery.
• Identifying opportunities to develop and expand existing client engagements and contributing to the commercial growth of established partnerships.
• Coordinating and working closely with project teams and colleagues across Netcompany to ensure successful delivery and continued development of client engagements.

About you

To succeed in this role, you:

• Have a strong technical understanding and extensive experience delivering complex IT projects and solutions.
• Have proven experience leading large and complex IT delivery projects, including projects utilizing agile development methodologies.
• Have a strong commercial awareness and a solid understanding of the German public sector market, combined with the ability to build trust and develop strong client relationships.
• Can advise clients on project deliverables while identifying opportunities to further develop existing collaborations.
• Are fluent in German and English at a full professional level and have strong professional communication skills in an international environment.
