We are seeking an experienced and highly organized HR Supervisor to join our school community. The successful candidate will oversee daily HR operations, support staff and management, ensure compliance with school policies and labor regulations, and contribute to creating a positive and professional working environment.
The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within a school, educational institution, or similar organization.
Job Location: Soma Bay, Hurghada
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day HR operations for teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, attendance, leave, performance, and offboarding.
- Coordinate recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, CV screening, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, leave, and absenteeism in accordance with school policies.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, employment regulations, and applicable labor laws.
- Support the implementation and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially.
- Assist with performance management, appraisals, disciplinary procedures, and staff development.
- Prepare HR reports, staff statistics, attendance reports, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with school leadership and department heads regarding staffing and employee-related matters.
- Support staff engagement, welfare, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure all HR information is handled with a high level of confidentiality.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and relevant employment regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a school or educational environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, staff, school leadership, and other stakeholders.
