Ripple Education is working with a secondary school in the area that is looking for a committed and confident Science Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4, with an immediate start.

This is a great opportunity for a teacher who can build positive relationships with pupils, deliver engaging Science lessons and contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
Assessing progress and supporting pupils to achieve their potential
Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team
Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in a UK school
The right to work in the UK
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete the appropriate checks
A minimum of two suitable professional references
A strong understanding of safeguarding and your responsibilities when working with children and young people

Communicates effectively with pupils, colleagues and families
