Mechanical Technician

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Mechanical technician based inGuinea (Site Based ) .

You will be as Mechanical technician - Site Based in Guinea who operate, maintain and repair Aggreko Cummins DO and HFO power plant MAN 9L 21/31 engines as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards

What you’ll do as Mechanical technician:

• To carry out mechanical equipment maintenance as per work instruction and OEM on Aggreko equipment
• To assist on major mechanical maintenance (16K, 32K, 48K Service …).
• To carry out systematic fault finding and repairs on Aggreko equipment
• To complete and maintain paper/electronic records as per site specifics·
• To carry out replacement, with or without assistance, of engine components on Aggreko generators.·
• To complete investigation report and share with O&M supervisor.·
• To identify and fix leaks on LFO (Light Fuel Oil) & HFO (Heavy Fuel Oil) pipework.·
• Operate the inventory and maintenance management system (M3, MMS (Maintenance Management System), ATA (Aggreko Technician App) or equivalent).·
• Adherence to 5S walk and Housekeeping

You are:

• Be certified as LOTO after a 6-month grace period and maintain certification throughout employment·
• Must successfully complete all assessments in compliance with mechanical technician intermediate level.·
• The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with Aggreko standards and local legislation·
• Must be capable of working in a restricted space and at heights.·
• Ability to work autonomously when required
