Registered Nurse Grade 2

We are seeking a Registered Nurse Grade 2Year 2 or Year 3 to work in Acute on a part time (72 hours/fortnight) capacity based at Nhill.

RENUMERATION:

• Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Single* Interest Employer Agreement 2024-2028.*
• Estimated Base Hourly Rate Part Time: YP3 - RN Grade 2 Year 2 $43.82 and YP4 - RN Grade 2 Year 3 $45.18

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• The Registered Nurse (RN) provides evidence-based nursing care to people of all ages and cultural groups, including individuals, families and communities.
• The role of the RN is to demonstrate the core nursing values of patient centred care, trust and respect in every interaction with patients, carers and colleagues.
• As an RN you are accountable for establishing and evaluating the patients care plans in partnership with the patient, their carer and other members of the healthcare team.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: Essential:

• Effective communication and organisational skills.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing Certificate.
• Excellent understanding of National Health Care Standards (acute and
  community care facilities).

PRE-REQUISITES:

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Working with Children Check.
• Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
• Australian Driver’s Licence.

• To strengthen relationships with consumers to enhance the image of the Service.
