We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager/Associate Actuarial Director, Pricing.
In this role you will:
- Advise stakeholders on all aspects of product pricing, profitability and actuarial risk.
- Review pricing models with proper and appropriate controls in accordance with Group standards
- Proactively involve and participate in new product development’s workgroup and proactively provide comments and feedback whenever and wherever it is necessary
- Provide advises to Head of Pricing and ORSO / Chief Product and Inforce Officer on overseeing and monitoring financial results
- Review and monitor profitability information (eg. NB CSM, HKRBC demand, MCVNB and etc) as well as review policyholder’s non-guaranteed benefits (eg. DoD rate, dividend, terminal bonus, crediting rate and etc)
- Conduct annual profitability review, in depth product review/analysis, fulfillment ratio disclosure and etc
To be successful you will need:
- Qualified or nearly qualified actuary from a recognized actuarial body
- University graduate in Actuarial Studies or related discipline
- Strong product and pricing knowledge in individual life insurance
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Excellent communication skill
- Possess strong problem-solving skills for wide range of problems.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Prophet is preferable
