Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an "Inspector Gagdet Electrical Engineer" with strong embedded systems expertise. In this role, you will develop and integrate electronic hardware, embedded solutions, sensors, actuators and vehicle communication interfaces. You will work closely with mechanical, software and validation colleagues to build, test and continuously improve reliable electronic systems for our autonomous vehicles and mobility products.

What will you do?
  • Deliver safe, robust and diagnosable embedded solutions.
  • Maintain complete schematics, interfaces, configurations and design records.
  • Ensure compatibility across power, communication and control domains.
  • Verify hardware and firmware against requirements.
  • Reduce technical debt through reusable in-house platforms and tools.
  • Resolve integration issues with evidence-based root cause analysis.
  • Share knowledge and strengthen embedded capability across the team.
  • Support reliable prototypes and transfer toward production.
  • Communicate progress, assumptions, risks and trade-offs early.
  • Promote practical innovation, ownership and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Be available for team for consultations and decisions.
  • Reporting and informing team (and management) about relevant topics.
Regular tasks
  • Design and integrate embedded hardware, power, sensors and actuators.
  • Create schematics, interface definitions, wiring and I/O documentation.
  • Develop or review firmware for microcontroller-based applications.
  • Debug systems using lab equipment, logs and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Manage CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, I2C and related interfaces.
  • Coordinate requirements and tests with mechanical, software and validation teams.
Occasional tasks
  • Join hands-on build, rework and field issue investigations.
  • Visit suppliers and support part qualification.
  • Benchmark technologies, materials and competitor solutions.
  • Build proof-of-concepts, benches and prototype harnesses.
  • Support vehicle commissioning, field deployments and issue triage.
  • Evaluate components, suppliers and alternative technologies.
  • Join safety, cybersecurity and reliability analyses.
  • Investigate returned parts and reproduce intermittent failures.
Decision-making authorities
  • Own implementation choices for assigned embedded and electrical functions.
  • Select components and interfaces within the approved system architecture.
  • Define debug methods, acceptance criteria and corrective actions.
  • Approve owned schematics, firmware baselines and test evidence, when delegated.
  • Suspend energization or testing when an electrical safety risk exists.
  • Escalate architecture, compliance, obsolescence and supply risks.
  • How to present the work best way possible.
Managerial authorities
  • Source external suppliers.
What do you need to succeed?
  • Mid-level to Senior, typically 4+ years in embedded, automotive, robotics or comparable systems.
  • Embedded hardware and firmware.
  • C/C++.
  • Analog and digital electronics.
  • Vehicle networks.

  • Schematic capture.
  • Diagnostics.
  • EMC awareness.
  • Structured debugging and documentation.
