At every level, our engineers have a significant technical and business impact designing and building innovative new systems to power our customer's business critical applications.
Monitors regular administration and mentors' team to conduct performance trend analyses and manage server capacity. Oversees team efforts to optimize system configurations and backups. Leads team in developing and implementing enhancements to improve the performance reliability, and security, of systems and environments. Mentors team to investigate system issues and facilitate high-severity incident triage to drive incident resolution and prevention. Supervises team for escalated support cases to drive issue resolution for a wide range of production environment problems.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a 24/7 team of technical operators, ensuring that production applications your team supports are stable, reliable, and well-documented.
- Work closely with engineering managers and development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with scale and operability in mind.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production applications.
- Own end-to-end availability and performance of key services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.
- Automate response to all non-exceptional service conditions.
- Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new product features and installations to facilitate our rapid iteration and constant growth.
- Develop tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale environment.
- Recruit, retain, and develop strong engineers while embodying OCI values and culture.
Requirements:
- This role is open to Israeli nationals only.
- This role will involve the successful applicant working on public sector projects which may require security clearance being obtained and maintained as a condition of employment. Candidates applying for this role must be willing to provide necessary personal details for the application and maintenance of necessary security clearance.
- 3-5 years equivalent work experience in Infrastructure as a code/SRE/DevOps tooling/Automation in supporting large scale systems in Production.
- 1-3 years of experience in the management of Engineering/DevOps/SRE teams.
- Experience with Linux.
- Experience deploying code within change management procedures.
- Experience participating in or running incident management.

8 years of experience in computer network administration, database management, systems architecture, systems administration, or related field
OR
Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or related field AND 4 years experience in computer network administration, database management, systems architecture, systems administration, or related field
OR
Master’s Degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or related field AND 2 year experience in computer network administration, database management, systems architecture, systems administration, or related field.

Job Skills:
Oracle Product Knowledge Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle products and the ability to educate customers on their effective use.
People Leadership / Management Experience:
1 year of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
Budget Experience:
1 year of experience working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
