Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to bridge client's functional and technical requirements at the module level by assisting in outlining technical specifications, performing basic configuration, and troubleshooting initial system issues.

Areas of Responsibility

Requirement Gathering-Understand the functional requirements and assist in translating these into technical specifications.

Configuration and Customisation-"Assist in performing coding, configuration, and minor customisations as per defined design and development standards."

Technology Harmonisation-Support integration testing by validating interface behaviour and identifying basic issues.

Troubleshooting and optimisation-Support troubleshooting activities and help resolve basic technical issues related to performance or configuration of a specific module.

Documentation-Assist in preparing user documentation, configuration notes, and testing artefacts for a specific module.

EUC Service Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and governance for Image Management, Patch Management, Application Packaging, and Software Deployment teams.
• Define standards, processes, and best practices across endpoint engineering services.
• Drive continuous service improvements, automation, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Review and approve technical designs, deployment strategies, and change implementations.

Endpoint & Workplace Engineering

• Manage enterprise endpoint technologies including Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Autopilot, and related endpoint management tools.
• Oversee Windows desktop imaging, OS deployment, endpoint lifecycle management, and device provisioning.
• Ensure successful deployment of operating system upgrades, security patches, application releases, and configuration changes.
• Drive vulnerability remediation activities in collaboration with security teams.

Application Packaging & Deployment

• Lead application packaging activities for Windows and modern application delivery platforms.
• Govern pilot, testing, deployment, rollback, and production release processes.
• Ensure packaging quality, deployment success rates, and adherence to change management processes.

Team Management & Technical Oversight

• Provide functional guidance and mentoring to engineers across Imaging, Packaging, Patching, and Deployment functions.
• Track team performance against service levels and operational metrics.
• Support incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Coordinate with global teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues.

Client Engagement

• Represent the EUC function in client governance meetings, service reviews, project discussions, and executive presentations.
• Provide technical recommendations aligned with client business objectives.
• Present service improvements, roadmap initiatives, risks, and remediation plans to stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with client leadership teams.

AI & Modern Workplace Initiatives (Having this skill is an Added Advantage)

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to evaluate Copilot use cases, AI agents, and productivity enhancements.
• Stay updated on emerging EUC, AI, and endpoint management technologies.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in End User Computing, Endpoint Management, or Workplace Engineering.
• Proven experience leading Image Management, Patch Management, Packaging, and Deployment functions.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Intune
  • SCCM / MECM
  • Windows 10/11
  • Microsoft Autopilot
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Patch Management Solutions
  • Application Packaging Technologies
  • PowerShell automation
• Experience managing enterprise-scale endpoint environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
