Service & Commissioning Engineer – Low Voltage Drives

Role Summary

Responsible for customer-focused service delivery, project monitoring, proposal support, project execution, and lifecycle services for Low Voltage Drive systems across various industries. Ensure successful project delivery, high system availability, and customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and quality service execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end service delivery and customer satisfaction for assigned customers.
  • Manage and monitor automation service projects, upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
  • Prepare technical proposals and solution concepts based on customer requirements and tender specifications.
  • Coordinate with customers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
  • Support commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and lifecycle services.
  • Drive timely resolution of customer issues and escalations.
  • Deliver high-quality execution services and solutions across various industries.
  • Build strong customer relationships, identify improvement opportunities, and generate service business leads to support growth.

Required Qualifications

  • BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related discipline with 6–10 years of experience.
  • Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related discipline with 8–12 years of experience.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Low Voltage Drive systems – AC/DC/Servo.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and commissioning of drives from 0.37 kW to 4 MW.
  • Strong knowledge of Drive Retrofit and Upgradation.
  • Knowledge of PLC and HMI.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Ethernet, MODBUS, etc.
  • Experience in engineering documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret System Architecture Diagrams and Wiring Diagrams.
  • Siemens product knowledge will be an added advantage.
