Vice President - Planning & Control

Develop and execute the company’s estimation strategy to ensure accurate project cost assessments.

 Responsible for estimation of project of overall project; monitoring and controlling project with respect to cost, resource deployment and time over-runs to ensure
satisfactory execution and profitability.

 Working closely with the BD team to arrive at construct cost and feasibility of projects.

 Formulation of operating budgets and managing cash flows

 Assist in the aspects of Project Planning, Scheduling and Cost Estimation, Quantity Surveying.

 Monitoring Contract Management, Tendering Process, Procurement Schedules, and Cash Flow projections for the projects.

 Rate analysis and Estimation database development.

 Preparation of concept level estimate for Business Development

 Preparation of cost and MIS reports (CTC analysis)

 Preparation/validation of BOQ & detailed estimates for all activities (Civil, finishes & MEP, Landscape etc.)

 Align estimation processes with overall business goals and objectives.

 Lead a team of estimation professionals, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work

 environment.

 Oversee the development of estimating talent through training and mentorship.

 Manage the preparation of competitive and compelling bids by providing accurate and timely cost estimates.

 Collaborate with proposal teams to ensure alignment between technical and financial aspects.

 Conduct thorough risk assessments related to project costs, identifying potential challenges and opportunities.

 Develop risk mitigation strategies to enhance the accuracy of estimates.

 Implement benchmarking processes to compare and validate cost estimates against industry standards.

 Develop and maintain sophisticated cost models to support various types of projects.

 Regularly update models based on historical data and evolving market conditions.

 Collaborate closely with vendors and suppliers to gather relevant data for accurate estimations.

 Ensure seamless communication between estimation and project execution teams.

 Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the estimation department.

 Implement new tools, methodologies, and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

 Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting project costs.

 Integrate market insights into estimation processes for informed decision-making.

 Ensure comprehensive documentation of estimation processes, assumptions, and methodologies.

 Provide regular reports to senior management on estimation performance and key metrics.
