Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Operator with 2-5 years of experience in precision mechanical assembly, preferably in Aerospace, Defense, or other high-precision manufacturing environments. The candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly of aerospace, defense, or high-precision components, sub-assemblies, and systems.
- Assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Ensure proper fitment, alignment, and fastening as per engineering specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documents.
- Verify torque requirements and assembly parameters during build processes.
- Conduct in-process inspections and verify assembly quality standards.
- Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
- Support rework, troubleshooting, and corrective actions when required.
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and process requirements.
- Follow standard operating procedures and assembly documentation.
- Ensure adherence to Aerospace and Defense manufacturing standards and best practices.
