  1. Roles and Responsibilities

  2. Joining the CloudOps team in our Tax Technology capability, the CloudOps Engineer is responsible for the cloud operations, cloud infrastructure & services, and code deployment for our Tax cloud applications and products. You will be working to continuously advance and standardise our cloud infrastructure and deployments, writing infrastructure as code that scales and takes advantage of new technologies

  3. Key Responsibilities:

  4. Working with experience colleagues to build and operate cloud workloads and services in the public cloud for Development, QA, and Production environments.

  5. Script, test and deploy new versions of environments and target infrastructures.

  6. Support software development and QA engineers across various products to meet their day-to-day needs.

  7. Gain experience of and implement new tools for increased productivity, security, reliability and performance.

  8. Develop tools and services useful in DevOps environments such as performance monitoring, security monitoring, deployment/configuration, continuous integration/build servers and cloud resource creation scripts.

  9. Ensure documentation of current and newly implemented environments with associated troubleshooting steps.

  10. Working collaboratively in a LEAN Agile team using a Scaled SCRUM framework

  11. Deploy cloud first applications on a continuous delivery platform with 100% infrastructure as code.

  12. Comply with security & infrastructure standards and policies.

  13. Continuously improve your technical knowledge and share what you learn with others.

  14. Seek to build components that can be reusable by other teams.

  15. Job Requirements

  16. Mandatory Skills

  17. Graduate/post-graduate qualification B.Tech./BCA/MBA/M-Tech/MCA

  18. Relevant experience for 3+ years

  19. Proven experience using Azure or AWS Cloud Solutions.

  20. Proven experience of Terraform Infrastructure as Code.

  21. Proven experience with Linux configuration.

  22. Experience working in an agile environment.

  23. A proactive approach to discovering requirements and self-learning.

    Nice to have Skills:

  24. AKS, Kubernetes, Docker or other serverless experience or desire to learn it.

  25. Experience using network protocols throughout OSI layers 3-7.

  26. Experience with cloud security and compliance, including identity management and monitoring
