Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Engineer - Industrial Engineering with strong hands-on experience in industrial engineering functions within a reputed manufacturing organization. The candidate will be responsible for capacity planning, manpower optimization, manufacturing layout improvement, new line setup, productivity enhancement, and implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform capacity calculation and capacity planning to support production requirements.
- Conduct manpower estimation and workforce planning for manufacturing operations.
- Optimize manufacturing layouts to improve operational efficiency, material flow, and space utilization.
- Lead and support Greenfield and Brownfield manufacturing line setup projects.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives across production operations.
- Plan and execute productivity improvement projects.
- Conduct time studies, motion studies, and work measurement activities.
- Implement line balancing and resource optimization techniques.
- Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Six Sigma projects.
- Analyze manufacturing data and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve overall operational performance.
