In this role, you will provide specialized technical services for industrial automation and valve automation systems, supporting customers through installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, inspections, and technical training activities. As a key customer-facing team member, you will help deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality solutions while contributing to customer satisfaction and long-term business success.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform installation, calibration, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, repair, testing, maintenance, inspection, and site assessment activities at customer locations and Emerson facilities.
- Prepare accurate service documentation, including service reports, timesheets, and customer-approved records following each intervention.
- Deliver technical training to customers, service partners, and internal teams.
- Share field observations and technical feedback with Quality, Engineering, and Lifecycle Services teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support manufacturing and operations activities when required, including assembly, testing, and evaluation of returned equipment.
- Collaborate with Sales teams during equipment assessments and site surveys, helping identify improvement opportunities and prepare technical recommendations.
- Support modernization, upgrade, retrofit, and lifecycle extension initiatives that enhance customer operations.
- Participate in customer meetings and provide remote support services to resolve technical challenges and create value for customers.
- Maintain full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards during all activities.
- Represent Emerson professionally and contribute to a positive customer experience through technical expertise, responsiveness, and collaboration.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Technical diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience performing field service, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, or technical support activities within industrial automation or related industries.
- Ability to read and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
- Understanding of PLC operating principles and industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and fieldbus networks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital reporting tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, including preparation of technical reports and participation in customer meetings.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with customers and colleagues.
- Commitment to safety, quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience with automated valve systems, actuators, or flow control technologies.
- Experience supporting customers in the oil and gas, energy, chemical, or industrial process sectors.
- Experience working in onshore and/or offshore industrial environments.
- Knowledge of diagnostics, commissioning, upgrades, retrofits, and lifecycle services.
- Experience delivering technical training to customers or service partners.
- Knowledge of Emerson products, solutions, and industrial automation technologies.
- Additional language skills to support collaboration with international customers and teams.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The total compensation salary range for this role is EUR 28,600 to 40,800 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
