As an Intern, you will be responsible for:
- The main focus is improving operational processes and supporting the implementation of AI-based solutions within Microsoft 365. Combining the process analysis and technical office activities (60%) with shop floor validation (40%).
- Involves analyzing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, developing AI-enabled tools, and spending time on the shop floor to verify correct implementation and gather feedback from operations.
- Optimizing operational efficiency through the development and adoption of integrated solutions using Microsoft 365 and AI tools.
- Supporting manufacturing operations for energy-sector components, focusing on machining and fabrication processes for products such as compressor casings, gas turbine components, Air cooler and Baseplate/Lube Oil Console. The main objective is to improve process efficiency, quality, and digitalization.
- Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operators, HSE, Facility & Maintenance, and Quality teams to support process improvements and shop floor validation activities.
- Collaborates with experienced engineers to analyze processes, implement improvements, and support digital transformation initiatives.
- Gain hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing processes while contributing to innovative projects that combine industrial operations, digital tools, and AI technologies within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Process optimization, digital transformation, increased adoption of AI-enabled solutions, and improving efficiency in both office and shop floor activities.
- Supports the manufacturing of compressor casings, gas turbine components, and other critical energy industry products.
- Focusing on manufacturing process improvement, digital solutions development, and the use of Microsoft 365 AI tools to enhance productivity, data analysis, and operational effectiveness.
- Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
- Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
- Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ level degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering and any other related field.
Experience or interest in energy-sector manufacturing, machining, fabrication processes, and the use of digital tools to improve operational efficiency would be an advantage.
Familiarity with AI-enabled tools within the Microsoft 365 environment would be considered a plus.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly machining and fabrication, would be beneficial. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, data analysis, and digital tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn manufacturing processes. The candidate should be comfortable working both in an office environment and on the shop floor, with good communication and teamwork skills. An interest in digitalization and AI-based solutions is highly desirable.
Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills
Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction

The fixed allowance for this position will be between this range: 600 - 1000 € gross monthly. The allowance will be established in accordance with criteria related to the candidate’s academic status and their distance from the workplace.
