CAD/CAM Mold Designer

Mission :

CAD mold designer for HPDC and techno polymer to guarantee the quality of the parts at the best overall cycle process.

CAM programmer for high single milling machine for cire, cavity, electrodes for molds.

Main responsibilities and activities:

3D CAD Desing mold for High Pressure Die Casting and related trim mold.
Work closely with R&D, machining’s Process Engineer and foundry in order to:
*optimize the design of the parts for guarantee the quality requested
* design the mold in order to have the best overall process between foundry & machining

3D CAD Design mold for Techno polymer’s mold and Vulcanized rubber moulding

Work very close together with R&D in order to optimize the design of the parts for guarantee the quality requested and design the mold in order to have the best process
3D CAM program for machining components of the mold (core, cavity, electrodes, etc…)

Have a good general knowledge on the machining process for Mold construction

Work closed together with quality department for the root cause analysis for quality problems related to molding when needed and study together with mold’s users how to improve the quality of the parts trough improvement of the mold.

Qualifications:

CAD specialist for HPDC & Techno polymer, ideally with NX software

CAM specialist milling CNC high spindle machines, ideally with Power Mill software

Previous experience in design & machining in mechanical workshop mold makers
