The role:
We are looking for a Requirement & Architecture Management Chassis to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Head of Vehicle Motion.
You will be responsible for steering the Requirement Management activities for the Chassis at system level 2 in terms of defining and deriving the system requirements throughout the entire life cycle. You will be the requirement and feature responsible for defined requirements and features in whole vehicle level, to define the specification of the system and derive and develop the functional, logical and physical architecture for the chassis throughout the whole lifecycle developing architecture alternatives and bringing about architecture decisions, managing interfaces and ensuring the system can be integrated.
Your main activities will be:
- Being responsible to define, derive and manage Chassis System requirements from vehicle-level requirements, ensuring consistency, feasibility, traceability and compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain the functional, logical and physical architecture of the Chassis System, translating vehicle needs into system and subsystem specifications.
- Manage interfaces with other vehicle domains, support system integration activities and ensure alignment with Verification & Validation requirements.
- Evaluate architecture alternatives, drive technical decisions and resolve requirement or interface conflicts.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Systems Engineering, Architecture, Integration and Validation to ensure successful delivery of the Chassis System.
- Provide technical leadership and ownership of the Chassis System, monitoring technical targets, maturity, development status and end-to-end system performance.
- Define and maintain the functional, logical and physical architecture of the Chassis System, ensuring alignment with vehicle requirements, project targets and reference architectures.
- Translate vehicle-level requirements into system and subsystem solutions through functional analysis, architecture definition and requirements allocation.
- Define and manage system interfaces, subsystem interactions and vehicle integration aspects, ensuring overall system feasibility and consistency.
- Drive architecture evaluations, trade-off analyses and technical decision-making to optimize performance, cost, complexity and system maturity.
- Coordinate architecture activities across Systems Engineering, Integration, Verification & Validation and Virtual Development teams, providing technical leadership and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery of the Chassis System.
- Continuously manage and monitor requirements status, ensuring consistency, change control, stakeholder alignment and end-to-end traceability across the system lifecycle.
- Own the allocation of requirements and functions to system elements, driving architectural analyses, evaluating alternatives and resolving interface or technical conflicts.
- Provide technical leadership to functional and discipline-specific architects, ensuring alignment and consistency across the system architecture.
- Define, document and maintain architecture artifacts and lower-level system specifications, ensuring compliance with configuration management processes and bi-directional traceability.

- Own the end-to-end technical status of the Chassis System, including hardware, software, functions and related R&D activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives and technical targets.
- Monitor system maturity, track fulfilment of project requirements and milestones, and provide regular reporting through escalation and maturity management processes.
- Lead and control the development of assigned systems, subsystems and functional scopes, ensuring successful delivery throughout the product lifecycle.
About you
- University Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience requirements analysis, functional development, Systems engineering, project, conflict and risk management in automotive
