Job Purpose
The HR Intern will support the Human Resources Department by assisting with recruitment, employee records management, HR documentation and other administrative tasks while gaining practical experience in HR operations.
Key responsibilities:
· Assist in preparing interview dossiers and coordinating interview invitations with shortlisted candidates
· Assist with the verifications of academic qualifications, professional licenses and other employment credentials
· Prepare employee confirmation letters
· Assist in preparing contract extension letters
· Maintain accurate employee records in both physical personnel files and the electronic DocIT document management system
· Assist in preparing contract conclusion letters and certificates of service.
· Support personnel file audits to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with organizational requirements.
· Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or their designated representative
Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:
- Bachelor's degree student or recent graduate in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- No prior work experience required.
- Previous involvement in student leadership, volunteer activities, projects, or internships is an added advantage.
· Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take direction.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Reliable, responsible, and professional conduct.
· Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
