Overview and purpose of the role
Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing marketing strategies that promote vehicles, automotive products, or services. The role focuses on increasing brand awareness, generating sales leads, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting business growth. Marketing Managers work closely with sales, product development, dealerships, advertising agencies, and digital marketing teams to ensure marketing activities align with the company's objectives and market trends.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning Develop annual and quarterly ATL/BTL marketing plans aligned with sales targets, model launch calendar, and the division's broader positioning strategy Translate business priorities (e.g. halo-model push, provincial expansion, new segment entry) into actionable marketing campaigns Own the marketing budget and report on ROI/ROAS across channels.
- Execution Plan and execute above-the-line campaigns (digital, print, outdoor, sponsorships) and below-the-line activities (showroom events, test-drive campaigns, MICE, VIP experiences) Manage content strategy across owned channels (Facebook, Telegram, website) including Khmer-language content and owner story features Coordinate model launch events and coordinate with regional/HQ marketing teams on global brand guidelines.
- Partnerships Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships (corporate accounts, financial institutions, lifestyle/luxury brands, agribusiness/chamber partnerships for provincial expansion, event sponsors) Manage relationships with media agencies, creative vendors, and PR partners.
- Lead Generation & CRM Own top-of-funnel lead generation and ensure all leads are logged and attributed correctly in CRM Work with the RM team to track conversion rates by channel and continuously optimize lead quality over volume.
- Market Intelligence Monitor competitor and grey-market activity, pricing signals, and social media sentiment toward the brand (direct and indirect mentions) Provide regular trend and competitive-landscape reporting to General Manager.
Background and experience:
- 5+ years in marketing, with at least 2 years in automotive, luxury retail, or a comparably relationship-driven B2C category.
- Proven experience managing ATL/BTL campaigns and measurable partnership development.
- Strong stakeholder management skills — comfortable coordinating with sales, CX, workshop, and HQ/regional marketing teams.
- Fluent in English; strong written and visual communication skills.
- Data-literate: comfortable with CRM reporting, campaign analytics, and budget tracking.
- Familiarity with the Cambodian luxury/automotive market and its informal (grey/garage) competitive dynamics is a strong plus.
